Wrestling is very inexpensive when it comes to the gear you need to participate.  Wrestlers will need a t-shirt, shorts, and a pair of wrestling shoes (starting at around $50) for practice. 

Headgear is recommended for meets and tournaments, and many events require it.

Registration cost includes a team uniform (shirt and shorts).  Singlets are optional for matches, but are preferred by most experienced wrestlers.

Wrestlers with braces must wear a mouthguard.
