Wrestlers in grades 4-8 will participate in team scrimmages in December and January with other local wrestling clubs. No team scores and no wins/losses are recorded at scrimmages and are usually held Friday nights or Saturday mornings. Younger wrestlers may also choose to be included in these scrimmages.
Team Dual Meets will be scheduled as often as possible. The details of these events will be announced at practices and posted on our website as they become available.
Throughout the year there are several open tournaments as well as BIG EAST and State Championship events. These are often very large events in which several hundred wrestlers, from all over the area, compete. Such tournaments tend to be day long events, (6 hours) in which kids are grouped by weight, age, and experience. Parents and wrestlers decide which, if any, they wish to compete in. Tournaments will require separate entry fees that range between $10 - $20. We will announce details about tournament sign-ups as they become available.
